Message From the Service Chair
Much is expected of those to whom much is given. Business professionals who seek to improve the communities in which they do business improve lives and develop goodwill. Our members actively give back to their communities through volunteer activities and monetary support. 

Alpha Kappa Psi Volunteer Service:

· Develops a stronger sense of self worth and pride,
· Brings new experiences, new friends and new possibilities to the individual,
· Increases skills in managing projects and people,
· Develops independence by improving decision-making abilities,
· Enhances personal visibility and prestige in the community and on the job,
· Provided new skills that can lead to job advancement, and
· Builds a stronger and safer community in which to live.

Alpha Kappa Psi Philanthropy Proudly Supports:

His House Children's Home is committed to breaking the cycle of abuse while meeting the emotional, medical, educational and social needs of the whole child. His House Children’s Home addresses these needs so children excel to the best of their abilities and receive all social and health opportunities that are available to every child.  

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
